• WinCCR reporting software is a report tool prepared for Siemens WinCC^® SCADA system.
  
  
• Makes the data that WinCC^® SCADA exports as CSV files ready for being reported. WinCCR scans the CSV folder cyclically; data files that came hourly, is processed and saved as daily, monthly CSV files.

• WinCCR uses Microsoft Excel^® report templates and generates reports from this templates.
  
  
• User may generate custom templates and use them as a base for report format.
  
  
• WinCCR is capable of compiling the received and processed CSV data as daily, weekly, monthly and annual files. With these files, it generates reports as standart Microsoft Excels^® XLS files by using prepared report templates.
  

• WinCCR processes CSV file of a reported hour and creates automaticaly related directory of the day, month and year if not exists. Moves the file to the related directory and generates related CSV files of the day, month and saves it to the ralated folders.

• There is an option “Automatic Active” to perform all these operations to be executed automatically. This option enables cyclic check of the CSV folder to perform generation of the compiled CSV files and save both daily and monthly CSV folder.
  
  
• It is also possible to create related directories, move received CSV files to these directories, generate daily, monthly compiled data files manually by clicking related menu items in the “Actions” menu and related buttons existing on the toolbar.
  

• By using the “Automatic Active” check box existing on the main toolbar, all necessary operations for processing files and making them ready for being reported are performed automatically.
  
  
• “Automatic Active” option elliminates user errors in the manual use.

• WinCCR is capable of extending report system by adding new tags to the end of the list.
  
  
• The data of the new tags that are included to this file, will be added to hourly CSV files.
  
  
• User may define links to the new line at the template file to include new tags to the reporting system.
  

• At the Tag List File tab of the Settings Window, user may inspect tags defined in the report system and edit them by clicking “Edit Tag List File” button at the right panel of the window or at related menu and tool bar buttons.
  
  
• Operators should pay attention to tag names existing in this file. Entered strings must be the same as tag names defined in WinCC SCADA system.
  
  
• WinCCR interface is capable of arranging the tags that will be used at settings page in the report and adding new tags. While including new tags to the Taglist, it is important to add them to the end of the Taglist.
  

• By using Report Generate Wizard, user may generate, save and print reports easily.
  
  
• For the Report Generate Wizard operation, monthly data is used. The preperation of compiled data for report generation is done by compiling monthly files from daily files and daily files from hourly files automatically by WinCCR.
  

• To perform report generation, the monthly CSV files existing in the folder of the related year is choosen and report generator button is clicked.
  
  
• The procedure of generation of a report from compiled data is as follows:
  • The file that contains data of the month which exists at folder of the related year is choosen,
    
    
  • Report Generate Wizard button is clicked and “Report Generator Wizard” window is seen,
    
    
  • The template of the report is choosen in the Template File Name menu,
    
    
  • By clicking on the Generate button, the report preparation procedure is started.
    
    
  • WinCCR opens Microsoft Excel and places the data to the choosen template automatically and saves the file at the “Report” folder as a XLS report with the name of selected template and selected month.
